We have probably all see those emails about those billboards that contend they come Directly From God. To me they are interesting, they make me think and usually the message comes through even though I know God did not actually pay to have the billboards set up. Other people don’t bother to think about the message they simply get mad at God instead of getting mad at the people who actually paid to have the billboards set up.
One message especially caught my attention. It was…
“Let’s Meet At My House Before the Game”
Since God can do anything He pleases, it should not surprise you that He could compose cute messages or allow other people, with money enough to pay for billboards, to be cute for Him.

Actually it caught my attention because it reminded me of something that happened back in the 1990s when I was living in California. It did not have anything to do with sports but it did have a lot to do with Sunday Morning.
It was a TV Ad by the New York Times and it went something like this…
It showed a beautiful couple sitting around in their Sunday Sit Around Clothes, drinking their Sunday Coffee, eating Sunday Pastries and reading their Sunday New York Times. They looked Content. They looked Happy. They looked Modern. The spoken message the commercial gave us was…
It’s Sunday and we have nothing to do but sit around and read the New York Times
Now I remind you I come from The Old Days. I did not think this was a cute message and I bet God did not think it was cute either. It actually struck me as awful. My mind raced with thoughts like what do they mean they have nothing to do but read the New York Times? Back in the Old Days where I come from the announcer would have said...
“We just got back from Church and now it’s time to sit back, relax and read the New York Times”
Am I just being picky, again?
Would I kid u?

Not being picky. Just reflecting your excellent upbringing.

To got my brain-a-think'in
1. Church on Sunday is a wonderful thing----with mask on. GOD still knows who you are anyway. 2. In Duluth Ga. on Buford Hwy beyond Publix Supermarket is a Dollar Store with trees growing in front of their sign. I said "Why don't you cut them down?" The clerk said, "We share that space with the other stores. And can't cut them down so people can read our sign." I said "Maybe an act of GOD can help you out!" The clerk was all smiles and said "yes!"

Only the KING of the Noticers would be so preceptive....... and you are NOT being picky!!!
