The federal
government has gone to a lot of trouble to pass laws requiring shippers to make
sure that mail order items are received by the customer by the date promised by
the shipper...
Ø How will the Feds know if it is or it is not received
by the date promised?
Ø Are there bureaucrats with green eye shades and clip boards following the progress of each shipped item?
Ø Now you know why the sellers always say it will
take 6 to 8 weeks for the product to arrive and then it arrives in about a
week.
Ø Shippers are not silly but Congress is.
The buying customer can
dispute the charges if an item was bought on-line but it was never received by
the buyer...
Ø We need a law for this?
Ø We are not capable of disputing charges for
something not received without Federal Help?
Ø Without this law would we be saying things like
this to ourselves?... ”Self, I did not get what I am being billed for. I sure
wish there were a Federal Law that required sellers to actually give us what we
order from them. Oh well, I guess I will send them a check for $500 but this
sure does not seem fair”.

Ø It’s illegal
to play catch with your son on the sidewalk in Dublin, Georgia.
Ø If you want
to spit from a moving vehicle it must be a truck in Marietta,
Georgia.
