I have been known to read excerpts from a book entitled the Book of Unusual Knowledge just for the sheer pleasure of cramming more Unusual Information into my Information Thirsty Head.
Of course, another reason is some of it sounds like Foolishness to me and I know Foolishness.
To be honest with you, I don’t believe in every bit of Unusual Knowledge in my Unusual Knowledge Book. A good example is the Unusual Knowledge on the cover. It states that...
“It took about 30 Million Hours for Stone Age Workers to Build Stonehenge”
Really?! We hardly know what Stonehenge was all about or how big it was but we do know it took 30 Thousand Thousand Hours to Build It?!
Archaeologists
believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. The surrounding circular
earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have
been dated to about 3100 BC. Radiocarbon dating suggests that the
first bluestones were
raised between 2400 and 2200 BC,[2] although
they may have been at the site as early as 3000 BC.
I think the out in this estimate is the word “about”. It’s another way of saying, “It took somewhere between 10 Hours and 30 Million Hours to Build Stonehenge”. That’s as good a guess as any.

On With Today’s Blog Posting which I hope is Interesting to you but It’s Not Funny.
My Mysterious Book has 3 of its 704 pages devoted to, The Mysterious 27 Club where it says that a bunch of Musicians Died at 27 Years of Age.
The legend starts with Robert Johnson a guitarist who died on August 16, 1938 when he was poisoned by the husband of a woman he was involved with. It took awhile for the Club to get going but between 1969 and 2011 6 more Members joined the Club...
Ø Brian Jones was one of the founding members of the Rolling Stones. His life descended into Drug and Alcohol Addiction. He had a very large liver when he was found dead of a Drug Overdose in a swimming pool.
Ø Jimi Hendrix died at 27 in 1970. He had an affinity for Drugs and Alcohol. He died choked on his own vomit after taking too many sleeping pills.
Ø Janis Joplin died at 27 of a Heroin Overdose. She was known to play as hard as she worked, typically with the aid of drugs (including Psychedelics and Methamphetamines) and her signature drink, Southern Comfort Whiskey.
Ø Jim Morrison was yet another hard-living, super-famous, devil-may-care rock star. His group, the Doors, hit the big time in the late 60s and he was dead at 27 by July 3, 1971 from a Drug Overdose.
Ø Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994 at age 27 after a lifelong battle with Drug Addiction, Chronic Pain and Debilitating Depression.
Ø Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at 27 after suffering from a Serious Addiction to Drugs and Alcohol. She died of Alcohol Poisoning with a Blood-Alcohol Level 5 Times the Legal Limit.
Where has all these awful stories gotten us. As for me, I am to the point where I see a lot of Foolishness and I have a very serious question...
During the time it took you to read this Blog Posting, how many thousands of people have started taking Drugs for the Very First Time?
They must know about the many famous and not famous lives that have been ruined in the past. Tens of thousands of lives have been and are being snuffed out every day because someone said to them, “One time can’t hurt”.
It’s as simple as this...
If there never had been a first time, there could never be a second time and there would never have been a Last Time.
Would I kid u?
