The other day I shouted at my TV while I was watching an NFL Football Game. It just so happens that day I have a visitor watching with me and he shouted louder than I shouted. It was John McEnroe. He literally jumped to his feet sending his popcorn bowl and its popcorn flying to all parts of the room.
Of course you know what John McEnroe shouts when he shouts
but I’ll tell you anyway. He shouted, “You
can’t be serious!”

Here is what precipitated all this shouting (In Bullet Point Format)...
Ø During
NFL Games the players are in collision after collision with opposing players
and members of their own team.
Ø They are shouting all the time.
Ø Out of their mouths come buckets Spittle and Germs which are propelled at each other because of the thrust created by their shouting. (In scientific jargon its call Shout Propulsion.)
Ø After the games they meet and hug and get within inches of each other’s mouths as the console each other, congratulate each other or tell each other how lucky each other was.

Eventually over on the sidelines the Lady with the Microphone appears for her interview with the “Hero” of the game (I have been known to put quotes around the word “hero” when it comes to Sports “Heroes”).
The interview is, of course, conducted with the Lady and the “Hero” standing about 10 Covid Feet Apart.
I should also point out that the screaming fans are back and they is No Covid 6 Foot or 8 Foot or 10 Foot Separation up in the stands as they Shout Propel their Spittle and Germs in all directions!
A lot about this Pandemic that is Silly and all of this is certainly high up on the Silliness Totem Pole.

Yes the Late Paul Harvey was also visiting me for the game (he was a big fan before he became late) and you, of course, know what he said. He said to me, “Tell them the Rest of the Story Because That’s the Silliest Part”...
