Chris Don’t-Call-Me-Fredo Cuomo Is an Alleged Lawyer and He Knows the Law...Or does he?

(I did the Underlining.)

CNN host Chris Cuomo is a law school graduate and licensed attorney — but he apparently does not know what the First Amendment says.

Speaking on his show Tuesday June 2, 2020, Cuomo rebuked those who "see the protests as the problem" and demanded that riot critics show him where it says demonstrators must protest peacefully.

"Now too many see the protests as the problem. No, the problem is what forced your fellow citizens to take to the streets: persistent, poisonous inequities and injustice," Cuomo said. "And please, show me where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Because I can show you that outraged citizens are what made the country what she is and led to any major milestone. To be honest, this is not a tranquil time."

Later, Cuomo declared that police officers are those required to remain peaceful — not demonstrators.

I feel compelled to come to the defense of Fredo. I know he is smart because he is a Lawyer and, we all know, all Lawyers are smart.

The only thing I think could possibly have happened is that the First Amendment must have been taught on the First Day of Law School and Fredo was still in the library sharpening all his pencils and he missed the First Amendment lesson.

Had he sharpened all his pencils at home the night before, as he was instructed to do in the Lawyer’s Law School Handbook, he would not have made himself look silly all these years later...

Quote from Cornell’s Law School’s Legal Information Institute

(I did the Underlining and Bolding.)

Amendment I

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

If only I had been there for Fredo that first day of Law School. I could have taken notes for him and Underlined and Bolded that single key word and saved him from making a fool of himself again this Tuesday past.

While researching this Blog Posting I found something else in Cornell’s Law School’s Legal Information Institute...

(I did the Underlining.)

Right to Assemble / Right to Petition

"The government may prohibit people from knowingly associating in groups that engage and promote illegal activities."

Fredo ought to point this out to Antifa before they do away with the Constitution. After they get rid of the Constitution it will make no never mind.

Would I kid u?
