When you get a Prescription from the Drug Store they give
you a bunch of paper to Keep You Informed and to Cover Their Butts.
You take the pills home and start popping them right after
you throw the papers they gave you away.
It was probably a violation of Federal Law (but I did it
anyway) I actually read some of those throw-away papers. There is something new
in those papers.
Actually it may not be that new because the Good Ole USofA
has been going down this road for many years now but I never read about it till
now.
It has to do with Marijuana. Under “Precautions” I read…
“MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. ALCOHOL AND MARIJUANA MAY INTENSIFY
THIS EFFECT. USE CARE WHEN OPERATING A VEHICLE, VESSEL (E.G. BOAT), OR MACHINERY.”
There it is. Marijuana is part and parcel of who we are
today and will be more a part of who we are tomorrow. Some call this
“progress”. I am not part of the some that do.
There probably is a statue in the Marijuana Hall of Fame to
the first person who came up with the term, “Medical Marijuana”.
He probably is not alive today because there is a good
chance he drove off a cliff in his Mercedes as he was Medically Marijuanaing
(yea, I know I made up that word) down a road that was not there.
You might say he was Rolling Along Singing A Song. Whatever
he was Singing About he felt medically good all the way down.
