This is your lucky day! My Mother taught me how to save money and now I’m going to teach you how to save money.
Way Back When...
Ø This may surprise you but I used to be younger.
Ø When I was younger my Mother would often (every time someone we knew or were related to had a Birthday) send me to Rosenthal’s Drug Store to buy a Birthday Card.
Ø My
instructions were...
>>>Buy a 10¢ card if it were for someone we just knew or just barely
loved.
>>>Buy a 15¢ card if it were for someone she thought of as Special.
Here and Now...
Ø My wife and I were in the grocery store and she wanted to buy a Birthday Card.
Ø She
showed me something I did not know about Birthday Card Shopping because I
really don’t Birthday Card Shop anymore...
>>>A $2.99 Card has nothing written inside.
>>>A $5.99 Card has words written inside.
Ø You can save $3.00 if you buy the empty card for $2.99, take it home, open it up and write “Happy Birthday” inside of it before you mail it to that someone you just know, just barely love or you think of as Special.
From Fella’s Save
Even More Department...
If you are like me, what you are really going to do is send that someone you just know, just barely love or you think of as Special a Text Message with a Cute Smiley Face and then you can take your saved $2.99 go to Starbuck’s and almost buy a Cup of Coffee.
Would I kid u?
