Let Me See If I Understand This Foolishness Correctly

Currently there is a TV commercial running that says the price of Silver will hit an all time high in the relatively near future. When it does those of us who own a bunch of Silver are going to become Stinking Rich.

The Sponsor of the commercial has a bunch of Silver and he is offering to sell it to us for a price that is far below what it will be when it gets to its all time high in the relatively near future.

I know I claim to be smart and I also know that a few of you have doubts about just how smart I am. I guarantee I am smarter than the Sponsor of this commercial.

If I owned a whole bunch of something that I knew was going to shoot up in price in the relatively near future, I sure as hell would not be willing to sell it to you at what is going to prove to have been a Bargain Price in the relatively near future!

I see that a whole bunch of you now get my drift because I just heard that bunch of you say to your collective selves, “No way, Jose, I would hold onto all that Silver until the Relatively Near Future has become the Recent Past and I would sell it at its all-time high and I would become Stinking Rich”.

It’s not Rocket Science.

Would I kid u?

I have been patiently waiting for that big jump in silver since 1980. I still have some silver coins (bullion) that I bought at roughly $50 per ounce when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the silver market. When the silver guru's prediction in the advertisement become fact, I will try to sell my few measly coins for a break even price.

And it is not true that I cannot admit when I made a mistake. I once thought I made a mistake but I was in incorrect.

Good Morning: The commercial was not directed at you or anyone with your education or experience it was devoted to those who respond to the emails from Nigeria to get $$$$$ from a dying lady who wants to give it to you so you can distribute it to charity but keep $$$ for your service. If it didn’t work it would not be on.

I bought cardboard when it was $2 a ton, when it hits $2.50 I'm going to sell it.(I own three tons) You have to be smart about these things.

To Mr. Anonymous at 7:10am...
Whenever I saw these types of SPAM I used to think that, if they made them more believable, they would get more suckers to bite.
Recently I read that they make the SPAM outlandish on purpose because they know that anyone who responds is predisposed to be a victim.
They know what they are doing.
It makes me a little sad to know that people so gullible as to fall for this foolishness.
