(I could have titled this Blog Posting Gone With The Wind)
I hope you appreciate what I do for you. You don’t
know what I do for you? What I do is stumble through the Internet and find
useless but interesting information and I send it your way to brighten your
day...Or is it brighten?
I stumbled across a celebrity (even though I
never heard of her) who got divorced. The divorce got her $2.5 billion, plus an
extra $100 million for 13 years. Unfortunately, she filed for bankruptcy in her
80’s.
In my younger days when I wanted to be sound clever,
I was known to say, “The only thing money can’t buy is poverty”. Either
George Burns or I invented this bit of cleverness.
George or I may have been clever but many
years later, on at this this one occasion, we were proven wrong.
Would I kid u?

Jocelyn Wildenstein, the infamous "Catwoman," has spent a staggering amount of money on her lavish lifestyle over the years. Her addiction to cosmetic surgery has reportedly cost her millions, with estimates ranging from $10 million to $20 million. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Maintaining her luxurious residences, staff, and utilities has likely cost her a small fortune, with estimates suggesting a whopping $100 million or more. And let's not forget about her love of art and collectibles, which could have set her back another $50 million or so.
Her divorce and subsequent legal battles have likely added tens of millions more to her expenses, with estimates ranging from $20 million to $50 million. And then there's her daily expenditures on fashion, luxury travel, parties, and entertainment, which could easily total another $50 million or more.
Finally, there are the miscellaneous expenses, like healthcare, insurance, taxes, and other personal expenditures, which could add up to another $20 million or more.
Here is the tricky part...if you add all the $s above up, they are WAY short of the $2.5 billion from the settlement...maybe there are cat hair covered mattresses somewhere with billion$ in them?
