I Knew Going In With Absolute Certainty I Was Being Lied To!

Yes, this just happened to me...Again.

I was registering online for a Doctor’s Appointment. The Doctor’s Computer told me, “This preregistration process will take only 5 to 10 minutes to complete”.

It actually took 35 minutes to complete.

Without a doubt I was lied to and my Doctor’s Computer knew it was lying to me!

Would I kid u?

Smarty Feller, you know that computers operate based on the instructions given to them through software and algorithms. They don’t have intentions or emotions, so they cannot “lie” in the human sense. However, if a program provides incorrect or misleading information, it’s usually due to errors in the code, inaccurate data input, or the way the algorithm was designed. It’s essential to differentiate between a computer’s output and the intentions of those who program or provide data to it.

Mr. Anonymous, you forgot that my Blog is entitled Foolishness...Or Is It?.

Well, certainly but as my first language isn’t English, it isn’t always clear to me when satire is the aim. Still, I think my comments remain appropriate.
