Is anybody listening to me?

U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson announced recently that he is pursuing legislation that will stop the Internal Revenue Service from rehiring employees that it previously fired for poor performance and bad conduct.

Isakson is a co-sponsor on the Ensuring Integrity in the IRS Workforce Act of 2016. His office said the legislation is a response to a recent report that accused the IRS of frequently rehiring employees it had previously fired, including ones whose personnel file was marked “Do Not Rehire”.

The Fella first became aware of this silliness in April of last year. Now, in January of 2016, Congress is still poking holes in the air with their fingers about this silly practice because the IRS continues to say, “What problem?”

The prison population is dwindling because our president wants smaller criminal incarcerations. These people are already schooled in the basic tactics of IRS agents. Why not hire them? They haven´t been fire from the IRS and should make wonderful agents for our out-laws-in-office.

Good one Fella............. If the IRS was the only govt dept that was totally corrupt, inefficient and non-functional I wouldn't be so concerned, but ALL departments of our Fed. government are that way, some more so than others. Most of the problems can in someway be traced back to the public sector unions....things have to change. We can't continue as we have been in the past!

You are asking what anyone must ask . . . “but why is such legislation even necessary?!?”

I’ve heard this before. Probably you wrote about it last April.

Where is our Founding Fathers’ good sense residing today? Not, apparently, in Washington DC.

Which makes me think of Presidential campaigning.

Would you consider running for President, Fella?

I see a looming necessity to write in a candidate. Is anyone else out there thinking about this option?

The solution is two files
Do not rehire A:
Do not Rehire B:

As each administration enters office they can just switch the files and move on, there is nothing to see here.
Great Blog.
